曼可顿食品（上海）有限公司介绍 Artal is a privately -held company owned by a group of prominent Belgian families. In 1985, the Company began a diversification program making selected acquisitions in targeted food sectors in North America and Europe. In 1998, the total asset is over US$ 3 billion, with over 100 subsidiaries located all over the world.
Established in 1991, Artal Food Industries is the development arm of Artal in Asia Pacific area. From its base in Hong Kong, it has been seeking business opportunities in the food industry with a view to expand the group's presence in the region.
Through active investment, Artal Food Industries is operating in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia with activities in food manufacturing and retailing, trading, industrial catering and restaurants. The Company also started up both manufacturing, sales and distribution operations in China. The aggregate sales in China is expected to grow tremendously in the next few years.
Artal Shanghai
Established in October 1997, it covers the Shanghai municipal area and the neighboring cities Nanjing, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Wuxi and Ningbo . With a similar marketing strategy from Beijing, Mankattan and Country Road are enjoying increasing high market share in Shanghai and is expected to grow tremendously in the coming years. The total number of employees is growing rapidly and is well over 600.
