    Opportunities at Deloitte
    Dear Candidate,
    Thank you for coming to our Career Forum! We look forward to speaking with you about your career aspirations and the opportunities at Deloitte . The purpose of this communication is to provide you with some tips for maximising your opportunities at Deloitte.
    Application
    Deloitte uses sophisticated recruiting technology to support thousands of visitors and applications on our career website. We have implemented a web based recruitment management system (“RMS”) to facilitate the application and selection process.
    To increase your chance for an interview with our Partners, we strongly recommend that you:
    ? Only apply through our Career Website www.deloitte.com/cn/career/opportunities.aspx
    ? Search for the job openings
    ? Apply for a specific job opening that you are most interested in before the deadline, approximately 2 weeks after our Career Forum
    - Audit Staff Accountant
    - Tax Associate
    - Enterprise Risk Services Consultant
    -
    ? Respond to all the questions to provide us with a comprehensive personal profile. In searching for talents, we focus very closely on your responses to theses questions to determine who should be included in our assessment process. {IMPORTANT: like all other web based job application systems, our system will accept your information as an application once you click “save and continue” on each page, no matter you have completed all the questions on that page or not. In other words, we will determine your suitability based on the information you have submitted before the application deadline}
    ? You paste a brief summary of your resume to one of our open-ended questions or attach the full resume document. This will not only supplement your profile but also help our assessors and interviewers understand you more.
    ? Provide us with ONE VALID email address through which you will
    - receive acknowledgement, invitation to assessment activities and application results
    - access and update your responses to the questions at all times {IMPORTANT: updates after application deadline may not be taken into consideration for selection purpose}
    You will receive an acknowledgement email from Deloitte to ascertain that we have received your application.
    Graduate Assessment Centre
    Deloitte considers every graduate application from an array of job related criteria. This year, we launch a Graduate Assessment Centre (“GAC”) together with SHL, the world leader in objective people assessment based on the science of psychometrics to search for graduate talents.
    Based on the profile you submitted through our career website, we will invite suitable candidates for the first activity of our GAC – a process of 4 different assessment activities as below:
    1. On-line Aptitude Test – verbal reasoning
    2. Group Presentation
    3. On-line Occupational Personality Questionnaire (“OPQ”)
    4. Partner’s interview
    Candidates invited for the first and third on-line activities can complete the assessment anywhere they find most comfortable, and at any time most convenient to them during the prescribed timeframe. For the second activity, candidates will be invited to the Deloitte Office where our assessors can meet you face to face and interact directly.
    To increase your chance of success throughout our Graduate Assessment Centre (“GAC”), we strongly recommend that during October and December, 2004 when our GAC will be held you:
    ? Check for invitation emails from either Deloitte or SHL regularly
    ? Make sure the email address submitted in your application is valid and accessible to you
    ? Complete the on-line assessments from the SHL with special attention to the following:
    - complete within the prescribed timeframe, normally 4-6 calendar days after issuance of invitation email. {IMPORTANT: you are not allowed to access the assessment tool after expiry of the prescribed period}
    - read through the instructions carefully, make sure you understand what you are asked to do and the time allowed for completion before you start the assessment. {IMPORTANT: You can enter the site of SHL again but you will only have ONE access to the assessment tool , so please make sure you can spare the suggested time before you start the test.}
    - complete the assessment in good faith, do it on your own and with your best effort
    ? You participate in the assessment activities held at the Deloitte Office in a relaxed manner, dress professionally, arrive 15 minutes earlier and carry copies of documents, if any, as advised in our invitation email
